Devizes Town Band has selected Alzheimer’s Support as its preferred charity.
A donation was made to the group based in Sidmouth St, Devizes, from the proceeds of the Heroes & Villains concert.
The band will be playing carols in Devizes Market Place on Saturday 8 December, in the morning, for Alzheimer’s Support and band funds.

The band also supports the Royal British Legion, and has for many years, staged a poppy concert in aid of the Devizes Branch.
However, 2018 was a very special year, and to mark the centenary of the 1918 Armistice, the band performed a spectacular show in St John’s Church in the afternoon of the 11th of November – a donation will be made to the RBL Devizes Branch Poppy Appeal.
